Pricing
As you benefit from bills-included you will have utilities and broadband included in your tenancy agreement! You may receive a copy of the monthly invoice from your agent and we can also send it on email via: team@houseflow.co.uk.
Meter readings
We require meter readings from you or your managing agent at the start and end of your tenancy, and during your tenancy upon request.
Postal Bills
We do not send postal bills, but occasionally an individual supplier might. If this occurs, please take a clear picture of it and send through to us at postal-bills@houseflow.co.uk.
Overages
In a minority of cases your energy consumption may consistently exceed the allocations stated in your tenancy agreement. This creates a debit on your account. Your allocation is based on your home’s usage profile on the national energy database which c.85% homes do not exceed. Account debits are dealt with by either increasing rental payments or issuing a one-off charge, for example upon move-out. A breakdown illustrating your overage will be provided along with rates that are below market average. Your water costs are usually fixed and cover unlimited usage (subject to fair usage) unless your home has a water meter.
Price Increases
In some cases your payments may be increased in response to unavoidable, market-wide changes in retail rates [energy and water] and only in proportion to or lower than changes in the government’s Ofgem price-cap [energy].
Cancellations
Despite the competitive pricing and hassle-free set-up, it is your statutory right to be able to switch energy supplier at any point with 30 days’ notice via your managing agent or via cancellations@houseflow.co.uk provided there is no remaining debt or obligation. Please note that Houseflow are a package provider and so a cancellation for one service would cancel the whole package.
Permission of Authority
As part of this agreement, you give permission of authority to Houseflow to process the utility and media accounts on your behalf, including creating accounts, receiving and sending supplier communications, and closing accounts.
